JEI trains supports networks of individuals providing community-based paralegal services in urban poor communities in Nigerian cities. Through the paralegal network and more broadly, JEI supports movement-building and inter-community solidarity among urban poor and other marginalized communities. JEI’s strategic advocacy or litigation backstops the work of community paralegals and broader community-based movements to lead the changes they want to see in their cities.
