Woman injured in Tennessee car accident

The accident occurred last Friday. Reportedly, early that evening, an 84-year-old woman from Maryville was driving a minivan east along a road in Blount County. Allegedly, the 84-year-old woman’s minivan was then struck by a westbound car which had crossed into the road’s eastbound lane. The car was being driven by a 41-year-old man from Maryville. According to authorities, the car had crossed into the eastbound lane while attempting to avoid hitting a motor vehicle which was making a left turn.

According to the article on the Daily Times’ website which reported this story, the 84-year-old woman suffered injuries in this motor vehicle accident. She was transported to a hospital after the accident occurred. Reportedly, as of last Friday night, she was in stable condition.
